If a book you are looking for is not on the shelf where it belongs, make sure you are looking for it in the correct spot - e.g., if it is QL415 make sure you are looking for it in the QL 400's, not in the 4's or the 40's. Try looking on the shelf above and below where it should be located as the item may be shelved incorrectly. Also, check the “sorting areas” and “return to shelves” book cases on each floor and tier as the item may be waiting to be re-shelved. You might want to check by the scanners and copiers on the first floor in the LCC as well. If you are unable to locate the needed item, go to the Circulation Desk and complete a missing item search form.
